Join the Royal College of Podiatry
Discover free student membership: eligibility requirements, application process and how to join the professional podiatry community.
To be eligible for free student membership you must EITHER be:
studying for an undergraduate or a pre-registration postgraduate podiatry qualification, or
enrolled on an apprentice degree, or
enrolled at a UK university with a recognised podiatry course
Courses that are recognised by the Royal College of Podiatry are at:
Health Sciences University, Bournemouth (formerly AECC University College)
Before you apply
Gather evidence that will prove who you are and that you are a student on a recognised podiatry course.
Your details
You must provide:
your full name
your university email address
your term-time address
your course details, including start and end dates
Proof of your student status
You'll need to provide a letter from your university confirming you are a current podiatry student. This must be on headed paper.
Student ID is not accepted.
How to apply
To apply for free student membership:
Visit the Royal College of Podiatry website.
Click 'Join Now' or navigate to the membership section.
Select Student, Apprentice Student or Student Member if you are an assistant practitioner.
Complete the online application form.
Provide evidence of your student status.
After you apply
Once you've submitted your application:
you'll receive a confirmation email within 1-2 working days
your membership details will be processed within 5 working days
you'll receive a welcome pack containing your membership card and information
you'll get login details for the members' area of the main Royal College of Podiatry website
