Access free, confidential 24/7 counselling, mental health resources and dedicated support during your podiatry studies and beyond.

Support available with your membership

As a student member, you get free access to:

  • confidential counselling support through Health Assured

  • Health e-Hub app with wellbeing resources

  • an online wellbeing portal

You do not need to pay anything extra for these services.

How to access support

  1. Sign in to the Royal College of Podiatry member area.

  2. Go to the wellbeing support section.

  3. Choose the support you need.

Confidential counselling

Confidential counselling allows you to speak with qualified counsellors:

  • 24 hours a day, all year round

  • completely confidentially

  • includes bereavement support

Before you call the counselling helpline, log into MyPage. You will find the code you must quote to access this service as part of your membership.

Health e-Hub app and online portal

Access resources to help with:

  • mental health

  • physical wellbeing

  • financial wellbeing

You’ll be able to access our health e-hub app and online portal once you’ve received your membership pack.

Support with studies and placements

There are several people you can talk to if you're finding your studies difficult. Speak to:

  • your personal tutor: they can help you access university support services

  • your course leader about any specific concerns

  • your university's student support services for study skills help

  • our membership and education teams

If you're having difficulties during your placement, you can get help from:

  • your placement supervisor about your concerns

  • your university's placement team

  • your personal tutor

Do not wait until things get worse: support is available and it's normal to need help during your studies.

If you’re studying at a university with a podiatry programme, your university has support services including:

  • counselling

  • financial advice

  • academic support
