About the programme

The Royal College of Podiatry offers a free online mentoring platform for you to connect with mentors who can provide guidance and support in your career development.

The mentoring relationship allows you to:

  • gain insights from experienced practitioners

  • discuss career goals and development plans

  • receive support with challenges you're facing

  • build your professional network

Find a mentor

To find a mentor:

  1. Visit https://cop.onpld.com/.

  2. Create an account and complete your profile.

  3. Select the attributes you're seeking in a mentor.

  4. Request mentoring in specific areas.

  5. Once matched, arrange a first conversation with your mentor.

The platform provides tools to support your mentoring relationship, including:

  • goal-setting resources

  • meeting preparation guides

  • progress tracking

Specialist advisory groups

The Royal College of Podiatry Faculty of Podiatric Medicine includes specialist advisory groups that focus on specific areas of podiatric practice.
